The Virginia State Conference NAACP is composed of about 90 chapters or branches and these branches are divided into 15 areas. Each area elects a President and the President represents the branches in their area on the Executive Board of the State Conference.
The branches of Area 15 are:
- Alexandria
- Arlington
- Fairfax County
- Fauquier County
- Loudoun County
- Prince William County
- Warren-Page Counties
Each of these chapters in-turn hosts quarterly meetings that are normally held in March, June, September and December. These meetings are open to all NAACP members.
During these meetings, the branch presidents or representatives give an update of activites in their areas and tell how they are meeting the goals and responsibilities of the Association. The branches are encouraged to support the activities of the other branches.
